Traveling to Uttar Pradesh in Northern India, I worked with a woodworking family to produce hand-lathed wooden plates, finials, and jars, all for beloved incense.

 Made of Dalbergia sissoo wood, also known as Sheesham wood, a type of hard rosewood. 

Measurements: With Lid 8" Tall x 5 1/2" Diameter.

The Rosewood Arabesque jar holds about 8 oz's or 225 grams of incense.
